Naoki (Nikki) Sato is a Director of The Japan Partnership, based in Tokyo / Sydney.  

Nikki has over 22 years' experience in executive search and human resources in Japan and Australia.

He began his career with Sompo Japan, a major non-life insurance company.  His first position in recruitment was with Du Pont Japan.  He moved to Price Waterhouse Japan as HR Manager and Executive Search Consultant then joined Price Waterhouse in Sydney as an Executive Search Consultant.  He has been with The Asia Partnership since 1999.

Nikki advises high calibre bi-lingual Japanese executives, on career development opportunities in business development, marketing, human resources, logistics, consulting, finance and general management.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Keio University in Japan and a Master’s in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management, Thunderbird.

He speaks English and Japanese.  He was tutored in Sumi painting in Tokyo and later became a professional Sumi painter with several sold-out exhibitions in Japan and Australia.  He currently plays the blues harp.
